While public funding covers the library’s basic operating expenses, the Friends funding – from your memberships, donations and participation in fundraising activities – allows the library to offer enriching and cultural activities open to all town residents. 

The Friends proudly sponsor the successful and popular Summer Reading Program, providing wonderful enrichment activities as well as many prizes for our Nutley youth, and a reading challenge for all ages. 

Thanks to your tax-deductible donation, we can continue to provide and expand our support of educational, cultural, recreational and entertainment materials.

Friends have purchased Children’s Learn and Play Activity Centers (in Story Time Room, Children and Teen iPads (expand technology) and library furniture
